@Canageek safety razors are both good on the cheap and provide a super clean shave. i use a fresh blade every time i shave since it's like $10 for 100 blades on amazon.

i often use an electric razor when my energy is low, but if i'm going anywhere, i prefer the safety razor for a much cleaner shave.

either way, i usually use an electric trimmer to get rid of the bulk of hair first.
