to be fair, i like all three of these things because they're cheap and convenient, but their business practises and the fact that they're companies under capitalism are uh, obviously still quite bad.

@Vordus i think it's important to realise that many folks can't entirely cut these things out of their lives unless they want their lives to be much harder and blander in a time when we already have so little energy and so little happiness to keep us going.
like, i've dipped my toes into "full foss" by ridding my phone of google at one point for like a year, along with using linux mint for that same time period. couldn't stick with it...it's too isolating and inconvenient
