The "beautificiation" features in some Asian smartphones/camera apps are freaky. I end up looking like a cartoon character when I turn them on, especially if I crank them all up to the max.

The fact that a lot of the features seem designed to mimic whiteness and white beauty standards probably doesn't help matters.
