Started off my Fridey with one of the best Lambics I’ve had so far, an Oude Kriek by Hanssens Artisinaal https://beerconnoisseur.com/beer/hanssens-oude-kriek. https://sealion.club/attachment/2104958 Fucking amazing! Now I’m on to a Flying Dog Horn Dog Barleywine http://flyingdogbrewery.com/?beers=horn-dog-barleywine !beer

Each batch of Oude Kriek offers different aromas and flavors only based on the century old knowledge of the Hanssens family. After the blending, the Kriek (with 70 kg of black Belgian cherries per 600 Lt. barrel) is bottled, corked and stored in the cellar for secondary fermentation at 50o-55oF for over one year. The taste is full of sour cherries with hints of wildness and oak that blends well with the extreme acidity, and slight residual sweetness.
