   @freakazoid @garbados Here in longmont, we've got a local utility for internet, but I can't get it because my landlord won't let them put in the cables. I'm thinking of trying to set up a tenant union, see if I can do something about this... >:[

      @Angle @garbados @freakazoid When I first rented, in a down economy, landlords were like "sure, of course you can switch to a utility of your choice, and yes get cable put in, great".

      Now it's a landlord's market and they're like "lol no, use our chosen overpriced utility supplier and don't you dare install internet".
