Goodnight friends! More cloud today than yesterday's crystalline blue, spread thinly across the sky in a uniform translucent gauze, softening the piercing sunlight to something warm but a little melancholic.

Today we went on an unusual outing—to see a community adaptation of the opera Carmen. The biggest impression I came away w/is simple baffled awe at the power of the human voice & the way the singers filled the space+our bodies w/sound.
