federated web app idea: a garden journaling site where you make a map of the land/porch/windowsill you use and post events attached to the physical space they happened in:
"irises have bloomed in the bed next to the pond"
"planted radish seeds in the vegetable bed"
"pruned apple tree in the orchard"
"started tomato seeds under grow light"
gardeners could follow each other and get inspired/learn, and the app could show you helpful historical data ("last year you sowed radishes on May 1st")
