    You have an immune system for a reason guys, even someone with an compromised one like me doesn't have to worry as much as people make this out to be a problem (but I'm sure it makes good money for companies that make hand soap).

    Also the thing that most companies don't tell you is that most of the bacteria you might find on said hands (or towels etc) is harmless.  Some of it is even helpful, in the same way that the bacteria in your gut is.

    So long as you're making an effort to clean yourself regularly, I wouldn't worry too much about doing it in specific way that the cosmetics industry wants you to.
