Everyone Deserves Nice Things@fobo I went through this a few years ago with Swans who were hugely important to me and whose live shows were nigh on religious experiences for me. For me, it wasn’t a matter of should I no longer listen to and enjoy their stuff so much as I could no longer do so. Every time I tried, the work had taken on such a totally sinister new meaning that I couldn’t handle it at all, anymore. I got rid of my records and merch and it felt right.
