eribloodlustI don't know about other people but whenever I ask for help on masto it seems like all I get is boosts. I only ever got monetary help one time total. My cynical thought is that people like the aesthetic of sharing trans queer homeless disabled etc posts and get something out of a boost and don't need to actually help to get social capital. Tbqh Facebook is WAYYY more effective for getting support from people and I miss that part of the communities there
