SiFive to release all source code to initialize HiFive Unleashed RISC-V single board computer.
The first Linux-capable, multi-core, RISC-V processor – the Freedom U540.
Aside from being open source and customizable, one of the main benefits of RISC-V is that it's fully modern, purpose built, & unburdened with legacy code.
An open source hardware helps the industry become more competitive.
