      advertising is predatory. if i opt out of being guilt tripped and harassed by ads, only to be guilt tripped and harassed over my decision to opt out, what makes you think i'm gonna regret my initial decision? you're doing the same shit i'm trying to avoid by asking me to disable my adblocker

         tbh you don't need any stronger reason than "i don't want to see ads" to use an adblocker. you don't have to make up excuses, or feel the least bit guilty about it. ads are horrible.

         don't let anyone ever tell you that you have to put up with that shit so that people have a slim chance at siphoning an income from you at your own expense
