What good would it do to contact your MEP if you live in the UK?
Because of this country's political situation at the time of the last EU election, the UK seats in the European Parliament are packed out with UKIP vegetables.
They literally do the bare minimum to take the EU wage and pension and won't care a jot. Why bother?
