I think the progress of England in the football is slightly risky. We could see it kick off, and not in the football way.

Once they inevitably go out, this week or next, the ingredients are all there: tetchy, beered-up blokes, nationalistic fervour, major heatwave, existing tensions over the political situation.

An England defeat in the next couple of World Cup matches could be the spark needed for civil unrest in certain areas. I am a bit worried.
