There is a valid critic against crypto currencies. But descrediting them as nothing but scam or energy waster is false.
Today there've been raids at #zwiebelfreude caused for collecting money for #riseup through regular bank accounts.
If we instead would have send it via #monero (I'm not up to date on crypto currencies) this could have been prevented.

* maybe not, since they can create accuses out of nothin. But at least it can help to peotect data, since they need to have real names documented in their tax documents.

You severely overestimate our friends and helpers in blue if you think cryptocurrencies would have helped here. They are collecting CLUES, not trying to be rational or smart or anything.
