Thinking about Radio Nova in France and their production the other day got me thinking about other radio stations around the world with imaging that's a bit different.

Most stations sound like this - shrieking a station ID or frequency at you: https://soundcloud.com/ignitejingles/the-bay-world

Some do it a little differently, either for historic or creative reasons, and cut through the mass of identical sounds on the dial.

In Berlin, Fritz Radio with its comedy sketches and distinctive nine-note melody: https://www.fritz.de/sehen-und-hoeren/jingles/

From Russia, the haunting melody of "Moscow Nights" on Radio Mayak: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=urSUWdtEI1Y

(with apologies for the slightly ropey audio quality - this was the best example I could find)
