    i enjoyed the new episodes a lot but i'm almost certain people are gonna ignore the fact that writers can make any situation work out the way they want to and insist that we just need to be talking more to solve our current political climate

      talking is good but specifically sitting down with your enemies and talking it out is sort of a privileged thing and probably not going to work in most cases.

      i'm glad it did in this case because honestly having villains that are complete villains all the time is tiresome but...i still worry about the influence our favourite media can have on us.

        i mean i guess they were fighting from the get go and only really tried talking when it was safe to do so which was pretty good, but a lot of folks are gonna miss the nuance and just go straight to "talking is always the one true way to end conflict"
