   my real theory is that mastodon and the fediverse and other new web platforms got the next generation on it and while its messy they're growing and a good number of these people are going to grow and end up doing really important and powerful things

      @chosafine Amen. I was here for identi.ca and the first wave of federated social media and I'm amazed at this iteration and how far it's come. The growth is there if you look for it.
