   A friend has lent me a copy of "What To Do When Machines Do Everything". Written by what appear to be tech bros and aimed at business people, it argues that AI (well, 'machine learning') means we are on the cusp of the fourth Industrial Revolution so get with the program or fall behind. Sets out 'strong AI' (skynet) as the possible dystopian future that people are afraid of but completely fails to mention the mass surveillance and population control uses of ML that are being rolled out today.
