    One of the things Adobe never seemed to worry about (or free alternatives like the GIMP) that is a huge concern for me if I ever get this compilation book together, is upscaling from a low resolution to a high resolution in a way that still looks okay.  PSP manages (I *think* by means of using Painter-ish brush voodoo) to do this very reasonably well compared to anything else I use, so it would be a good way to enhance the images used in the book that are from game screenshots, since they'd be going from 1080p72dpi to 4500p300dpi (minimum) which results in a big quality difference.  Anything that can make it still look good at that resolution would be a huge boon to the book.

        @hattiecat I'm playing around with PSP 2018's trial.  It's ... really nice, actually, for image manipulation stuff.
