my most favorite and missing feature:
(not any existing plattform I'm aware of has this, but I'm really missing it)

    What it intents to solve/improofe:

    - better discoverability
    - countering inequality through fame
    - busting cultural silos
    - making federated timelines a joy to read

a not so well writen text about:
    https://hub.libranet.de/channel/paulfree14/?f=&mid=fea3b23700ad736b555a497e44e1bada28b667551a26b2d40c779eb9bf4271b2@hub.libranet.de

I'm even more wanting this then the group feature.

What if we could filter posts based of the significance/importance it has for the author.

We could still be super chatty here, without reducing visability to important bits we'd better had discoverd.
We could read the federated timeline, full of content that has a high value for the author. by that we can take care to read those with special attention - busting cultural silos

We would distribute the visability more towards the authors choice of 'importance' rather then plain follower counts
