   i guess that's part of why i dislike people being upset at other players for not doing well, even in ranked.

   ranked game modes, even if they're technically exactly the same, have a different feel to them thanks to player experience, motivation, and strategy.

   unranked won't always prepare you for ranked. especially in splatoon where ranked and unranked are literally different game types.

      (don't get me wrong i absolutely get upset over my teammates not doing well and impeding my progress. i'm working on it. mainly i really need to be directing my frustration at the poorly implemented matchmaking systems and not the other players that also suffer because of them)
