Developers praising "Visual Studio Code" from #Microsoft is some weird thing these days, especially under #GNU-Linux. That's the known #pragmatism, building just more nonsense and invading software-freedom more and more. Of course you could have a look on this environment and perhaps take advantages back to the really free projects.
