No one seems to understand why I want to drive 60 miles home during tonight's England football match.

"You'll miss the BIG MATCH!" they say.

For me, the pleasure in something like a major football match that everyone's watching doesn't come from watching the match. It comes from experiencing the country while the match is on, seeing the deserted roads and empty spaces.

I get to experience things how I want to, and I experience them differently from others.
