as it stands i like the concept behind coops but they strike me as privileged. i certainly can't afford the buy-in for a coop and it's still taking up resources that should be shared by the community to benefit a select few. it's like "the rich get richer" except the middle-class and a few lower-class folks are in on it

maybe i don't fully understand coops but they seem harmful to a community at large?
