i still very much believe we're not doing enough and we won't collectively wake the fuck up fast enough to curb things. on our current trajectory we're losing to fascism.
we're leading every radicalisation with "please vote" and that's just reinforcing the current system that is already broken, not to mention dividing attention away from finding actual solutions?
we need more direct action, but that's "too risky" so everyone would rather pretend voting still works i guess

people say that all these candidates we're electing are bringing us together and unifying us. well i can assure you that the people who can't vote and are being denied their rights do not feel unified under the system.
i can also guarantee you that the unity you're feeling is useless if you're unifying over the wrong reasons. i mean, i bet the status quo has quite a bit of unity going on surrounding their ideas, and look where they got us

direct action is what we need and is the only way to fix anything. you can still go and vote but please stop telling people who are new to leftism that we all need to be voting to enact change, and especially stop guilting people if they decide not to bother voting, even if you end up losing the vote.
blame the racists/fascists for voting for a shithead, blame the system for allowing a shithead to be in power, don't blame people for not voting in a broken system
