   @bob The media places the focus on Trump deliberately because he is a divisive figure that they can use as a distraction while their wealthy masters attempt to get up to nefarious things.  It doesn't have to work perfectly, just well enough that enough eyes don't get on bad bills or (in the case of foreign media) the domestic problems locally, that might threaten the mechanations of the burgeoius.
