This was a great and really creative radio idea - a national game of hide and seek on BBC Radio 1.

The presenters were hiding somewhere in the UK, listeners were given clues and the hidden presenters were eventually found in Liverpool.

Less than 24 hours after going into hiding for a national game of Hide and Seek, BBC Radio 1's Greg James and Nick Grimshaw have been found.

They used to do a similar thing on local radio back when there was more money sloshing around - the "Fugitive" or "Renegade".

The mystery person would give clues as to their location and people would go around asking "are you the Juice FM Fugitive?" or "are you the Real Radio Renegade?" I got asked a few times when it was on Juice.

The person who found the Fugitive would get a few hundred pounds as a prize, and the station name would echo around the city as people asked. Great marketing.
