ar.al🌻@kaniini @lain @pea @gcupc Very interesting in hearing your thoughts. I find ActivityPub hugely over-engineered. We should be treating federation like TCP/IP - as light/unopinionated as possible. Once we have a channel of communication, the semantics should be implemented at the message level, not the protocol level. We should be keeping the protocol as simple as possible.
