التنينوكس@kris my instance is hosted on a vultr VPS, the $10 one. It has 40GB disk space, 2 GB of memory and 1 vCore. I run #coreos so mastodon runs on Docker. I could have used the $5 instance but then I couldn't run Docker builds. This is no longer needed as pre-built images are provided. According to pgHero, the database size is 2.23 Gb. As for disk usage it varies. There is a command to delete remote media and reduces space considerably. df -h reports 64% disk usage.
