   i would love to see a fight where the crystal gems have to take on a bunch of different fusions to overcome different weaknesses/use different strengths to win

   like it's cool that they fuse every now and then, but what if they fused in all different kinds of configurations really rapidly?

      though idk if any specific fusions would be stronger than just having everyone fuse together in the first place

      also the crystal gems never seem to fuse when there's a legitimate threat, instead waiting for filler episodes where steven wants/needs to learn a thing or really just wants to see them fuse for the heck of it
