      I've never come across a .pod file before: https://nu.federati.net/url/154964 -- sadly, that doc doesn't see to say how to set the timeout...just how to get the previously set timeout.

         still working on this #SSL #TLS thing: https://maulwuff.de/research/ssl-debugging.html#hdr1 has some good stuff, but I'm still not sure what's going on with this issue.
