@uranther @cypnk I've definitely been thinking about this a lot lately.

The funny thing is that writing something that acts like Medium is not too difficult, since very few things actually need to be customized. But, if you want to build a platform with custom themes and templates and a dashboard for collaborative editing / publishing, suddenly everything becomes a lot more complicated.
