         But the package has very little documentation about dependencies and building, I have to find a way by trial and error

            I seems that libayatana-appindicator needs ayatana-indicator [1] that needs ayatana-ido [2], are you still following?

                     The first two seems to build and install correctly, but libayatana-appindicator's build is failing at configuration: Package 'ayatana-indicator-0.4', required by 'virtual:world', not found ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
