Trying to package libayatana-appindicator [1] for #archlinux as it's a dependency for the appindicator support of #Gajim https://dev.gajim.org/gajim/gajim-plugins/wikis/AppindicatorSupportPlugin -

But the package has very little documentation about dependencies and building, I have to find a way by trial and error In conversation from herds.eu permalink -

I seems that libayatana-appindicator needs ayatana-indicator [1] that needs ayatana-ido [2], are you still following?

So, I wrote 3 rough PKGBUILD's for the 3 libraries
* ayatana-ido: https://bin.postblue.info/uruxiyuqar.bash
* libayatana-indicator: https://bin.postblue.info/ebareqizux.bash
* libayatana-appindicator: https://bin.postblue.info/ugelowises.bashIn conversation from herds.eu permalink -

The first two seems to build and install correctly, but libayatana-appindicator's build is failing at configuration: Package 'ayatana-indicator-0.4', required by 'virtual:world', not found ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ In conversation from herds.eu permalink -

Oh, and I'm willing to use this with the gnome-shell-extension-appindicator https://github.com/ubuntu/gnome-shell-extension-appindicator In conversation from herds.eu permalink Attachments
