The reason for this is simple: those tracks presumably have more mass appeal outside of their core genre than the "heads" of the respective genres.That's almost certainly true for the experimental track winner versus the overall track winner. The hip hop album winner isn't really an album. The whole thing didn't turn out like I'd have liked, but there's always next year.

Does anyone want to get involved? I'm not sure what categories Dominic is going to want to do, but I suspect we'll keep he same ones.
