Bought these for $4 USD at a thriftstore, not knowing the soles were separating from the shoe. Took them to a local shop owned and operated by a Korean who didn't speak English very well. Said, "I can fix. $14. Prepay, please. Ready tomorrow."

So I paid and came back the next day. So far I think he did a good job at fixing these so I can wear them a long time. I'm happy.

These DID have decent resale value. If getting a pair repaired for resale talk about the repair method first :)
