So he sits down next to me and says "I'm not gay"... I smile, but think.. "Why are you telling me this".  We talk about pop music from the 1980's, local politics and local bars... He then says... " I bet everyone stares at you in that bar" ... and I wonder why he needed to make me feel different. Well he managed to spoil my evening in one sentence.
