@Tdorey I gave this a long and careful read. I have mixed feelings.
From where I sit, we can require consent only if consent is ours to give.
An occupier does not speak for an owner, an individual does not speak for a culture.
An honest person will say that *none* of what they say is original, and thus, there is no consent to withhold or to give.
The only consent I have to give is to whether I will allow others to guide me, to lead me, to govern me.
