I'm scratching the surface of audio generation and the square waves sound way louder than sine waves? Like, I double checked my ranges and they're both producing amplitudes between [-1,1].

Apparently this has something to do with the harmonic contributions in square waves? Where sine waves only have the natural frequency.

It's also noticeable in the sawtooth, it's so odd … like, an extra third-of-a-times-louder.
