I'm all for immigration, but I think major job positions that have an impact on our national economy should be held by Brits.

Mark Carney, the Canadian governor of the Bank of England, has no skin in the game, no real incentive to do a decent job. If he does a poor job and ruins our economy, he can just go back to Canada and leave us all in the shit.

He doesn't know what he's doing. The current inflation level isn't because our economy is overheating - it's because £ has been devalued.

The idea that our high inflation is because the economy is doing amazingly well and needs reining in is the kind of viewpoint you can only come up with if you reside in a London bubble, where the economy *is* overheating.

Out in the real UK, we can see that the inflation is simply due to the rising cost of imported goods (including all fuel and energy) because of the low value of Sterling.

Only someone ensconced in London would conclude that an interest rate rise is the way forward.

By "Brits" I basically mean "anyone who lives here and gives half a shit about the future of this country".

That doesn't include 'rock star' millionaire Goldman Sachs bankers.
