Given how these server banlists are kinda similar to the old days of blackholing spam domains, I think it shows how the thinking of this NYT editor goes talked about on Sunday's show. The "problem" is so uncontained that simply trusting someone's naughty list is a good idea.

There's some thinking that this may be influencing the algos into silencing folks on Twitter because of this same banlist mentality.
