Ah. "Theories" that don't yield hypotheses, and the "theorists" who produce them are labeled as such because the words "philosophy" and "philosopher" can't be used by anybody who wants to hold down a job in neoliberal academia. As everybody of consequence from Karl Popper to Stephen Hawking have testified, #philosophy is finished, outmoded, and irrelevant. On the bright side, I expect this has had the salutary effect of purging carpetbaggers from the few schools of philosophy remaining.
