Masto.host@bixmediocre This is a known issue in Mastodon and not your specific instance. If you open a user profile in the app interface you get a warning about that (see image)
The follows/followers count on remote instances is rarely accurate for remote instances (any instance, even in :mastodon: .social) and the avatar images can take time to update depending on load of your instance and the remote instance (this also happen in :mastodon:.social when a new account is found)
