@Angle I think that's what the IWW is supposed to be, although I'm not sure how much of that they actually do.

I think @inkslinger is right, though, that the Wobblies are supposed to be. They did organize harm-reduction workers in Windsor ON, last I heard, which is pretty awesome. It may be good to have all workers at a given work-place, regardless of job or employment level, organize into one union, as One Big Union was a tactic that IWW was definitely attempting. It'd be good to see education workers assembled into one union and not divided into age categories of 'elementary' and 'secondary' and 'post-secondary' &c. -

The question then, for unionized workers at least, is whether one reforms from the inside of the union or builds rank-and-file alternatives in every work-site outside of the given limitations. -

One could always hold membership in both unions, though, and push wherever you can for your more conservative union to be more militant.
