I'm listening to Hardcore History -- Supernova in the East. https://www.dancarlin.com/product/hardcore-history-62-supernova-in-the-east-i/
I've been listening to Dan Carlin's podcasts for a while, and he has trouble talking about the current situation in the US.
Listening to this episode I get this feeling that he's comfortable talking about pre-WWII Japan as making an analogy to what's going on now -- nationalism, populism, political violence, and breakdown of the institutions that led to the catastrophe.
