Finished! It didn't have as much hard data as I was expecting (almost none, actually), but I think he was writing for laypersons, and he does extensively cite his sources, so I guess I could go read the studies if I could be bothered to. It is, however, an interesting history of the therapeutic use of psychedelics, some first-hand trip reports, and a summary preliminary studies currently underway. If you're interested in the subject, I recommend it.
