throwback to the beautiful octopus (Graneledone boreopacifica) that was seen at 1164 m depth on the Davidson (Pierce) Seamount in the SGaan Kinghlas-Bowie Protected Area during E/V Nautilus dives earlier this year. It didn’t move very much for the entirety of the visit to the area, which led researchers to believe this octo might be brooding.
