   Just peeked on Twatter to coord a meeting via DM. There's so much self talk and personal triumphalism it's pathetic. Have we really become a world full of insecure, weak narcissists? If most people can't deal with their day without repeatedly slapping themselves and each other vigorously on the back and declaring their amazing singularity, then what's left but a bunch of infants in diapers?

      Yo @Combaticus Thought about this toot some. I've spent a good while trying to make a second line drum beat run through a progression I enjoy (Pachelbel canon in d). So far a failure, for me.

      Most people can't deal with their mistakes. The amazing singularity is we are all Supreme Fuck-ups. They will come to terms with being a nincompoop or they will turn to flowers.

         @YoVinnie Amen, bro.

         I used to spend time with the prior of a RCC monastery. I talked to him because he had a deep faith, but also ran the community's for-profit bakery. I was able to great faith/biz insights.

         During the econ crisis I thought the biz was going to go belly up and was worried about my reputation. Know what he said?

         "Mike is a fuck up. Everybody knows Mike is a fuck up. Your wife knows, your employees know. They love you anyway. Get over trying to be perfect."
