i'm listening to all of the books on serveral 'must read before you die lists. 'The Left Hand of Darkness' was on most of the them so i'm listening to it now. i love science fiction and have heard of this many times but never read it. when she died i knew i would.
I'm six chapters in and, while it's not a bad book, I don't think it's anything special. Is the point of it simply that gender fluidity is a key topic?
