lostinlight@MrConway I come from diaspora and regard ActivityPub as one option. Friendica communicates seamlessly with diaspora, Hubzilla mostly too. Both work to support AP - both won't see your rant, unless you open issues in their repos ;) OStatus future is murky, but hey - 5 projects talk diaspora protocol (soon 7? postActiv & Pleroma?). All projects try to add AP. Having > people work on < networks would be better - not to produce a Zoo, but... programmers love to write own code.
